Martin Bednall, CFA


Mr. Bednall has worked in financial services for nearly 25 years in various roles across investment management, trading and custody operations with BlackRock, Barclays Global Investors and State Street. Mr Bednall has managed complex, multi-asset class transitions, integrated portfolio management businesses and was responsible for ETF product development at iShares.

Mr. Bednall was responsible for the European iShares Product team at Blackrock. His team was responsible for the launch and management of all ETPs in Europe (including a suite of currency-hedged products). During the period iShares established itself as the dominant global leader in ETFs with the broadest range of products.

 

Chris Braun


Chris Braun is managing director and head of Foreign Exchange (FX) within the Fixed Income & Capital Markets business line at U.S. Bank. Based in New York City, he leads a team of FX marketers and spot, forward, and options traders who support a client base that includes individuals, corporations and asset managers. The U.S. Bank FX team provides a variety of hedging options to help these clients manage their currency exposures, and it collaborates closely with U.S. Bank Treasury Management to support clients’ international payments needs.

Under Braun’s direction, Greenwich Associates named U.S. Bank the #1 fastest-growing FX business from 2014 to 2019. The FX business at U.S. Bank moved up in ranking each year, f rom #15 in market share in 2014 to #7 in market share in 2019 – a significant accomplishment for a foreign-exchange franchise without a global footprint.

Prior to joining U.S. Bank, Braun led the national Middle Market team in the Corporate Derivatives Marketing group at J.P. Morgan. There, his team focused on supporting clients with both currency and interest-rate risk-management needs. Braun began his career in 1999 as part of Bank One’s Commercial Banker Development Program.

Chris earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Marketing from Miami University and his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

 

Michael Even, CFA


Mike Even is an investment professional with over 35 years of industry experience in various roles and organizations. Most recently, Mike was the Chairman of Man Numeric Investors in Boston and was a member of the Man Group Executive Committee. He joined Numeric in 2006 and served as President and CEO until December 2016. Prior to joining Numeric, Mike worked for Citigroup for nine years building a global asset management organization. After Citi merged with Travelers, he became global CIO of the Private Bank and eventually, global CIO for and Co-Head of Citigroup Asset Management, overseeing investment teams running more than $500B in client assets. Prior to joining Citigroup, Mike spent 13 years at Independence Investment Associates in Boston.

Mike received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics, a Bachelor of Science degree in operations research from Cornell University and a master’s degree in business from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Mike is a CFA® charterholder and currently serves on the investment committees of the Massachusetts Pension Reserves Management Board (PRIM) and the Trustees of the Reservation and on a few Boards and Advisory Committees for young companies in the FinTech and Responsible Investing areas.

 

William Fideli


Mr. Fideli is the Founder and President of William Fideli Investments (“WFI”), an opportunistic real estate investment firm focused on the acquisition and development of student housing. Mr. Fideli oversees all aspects of WFI’s business and is responsible for the vision of the Firm, investment origination, portfolio management, and supervises investor relations, asset management and due diligence. WFI has invested in over 4,000 student beds and 600 apartment units stretching from Maine to Texas.

Prior to WFI, Mr. Fideli invested in sale-leasebacks for Taurus Investment Holdings and CRIC Capital. Prior to his career in real estate, Mr. Fideli was an investment banker. His last role was as a Vice President of investment banking for FBR.

Mr. Fideli earned his B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame, with concentrations in Finance and Sociology. While at Notre Dame, Mr. Fideli was a member of the varsity baseball team. He earned an M.B.A. from the F.W. Olin School of Business at Babson College, Magna Cum Laude.

 

Robyn Grew


Robyn Grew is Group COO and General Counsel of Man Group and a member of the Man Group Senior Executive Committee. Her role encompasses responsibility for the firm’s infrastructure, operations, technology, compliance, legal, human resources, talent, business operational risk, financial crime and corporate facilities functions.

Robyn was previously Man Group’s Chief Administrative Officer and before that, was Global Head of Legal and Compliance having previously been Man GLG’s Chief Compliance Officer. Before joining Man GLG in 2010, Robyn held senior positions at Barclays Capital and prior to that at Lehman Brothers and LIFFE.

Robyn is a qualified barrister and has worked in the investment industry since 1994.

 

John Rohal


John Rohal joins the Lumint Advisory Board after retiring from Man Investments U.S.A. as Executive Chairman. Prior to his 4 years with Man, John was a Managing Member of Makena Capital Management, an outsourced endowment management investment firm that was spun out of Stanford University, where he was also a member of the Investment Committee and was responsible for investments in the Global Public Equity and the Tactical/Hedged Equity asset classes. Previously, John was Chairman, Managing Director and Chairman of the Portfolio Strategy Committee at EGM Capital. Prior to this, he worked at Robertson Stephens, where he was the Global Research Director and on the Executive and Management Committees. Prior to Robertson Stephens, John spent a decade at Alex Brown & Sons, where he was Managing Director and Co-Head of the Technology Research Group. John previously served on the board of Capital Group’s Emerging Markets Growth Fund and also served as a trustee for the mutual fund complex at RS Investments, an independent franchise of Victory Capital.

John received a BS from West Virginia University and an MBA from the Wharton School of Finance at the University of Pennsylvania. He also attended Law School at Georgetown University.

 

Damon Yuzon, CFA


Damon has over 24 years of experience spanning distributed infrastructure, real estate and capital markets. He is a Principal at Equilibrium, focusing on the firm's water, waste and energy strategies. Equilibrium innovates and manages sustainability-driven real asset investment strategies and products for institutional investors.

Prior to Equilibrium, he was the Vice President – Finance for Williams & Dame Development (WDD), whose visionary residential and mixed used developments include Portland’s South Waterfront District and Los Angeles’ South Park District. Prior to joining WDD, Damon was a Vice President at Needham & Company focused on M&A transactions, worked as a corporate business development analyst with Mentor Graphics and as an equity research analyst at Black & Company (now part of Wells Fargo Securities).

Damon earned an MS in Industrial Administration (MBA) from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University and a BS in Finance from the University of Oregon. He is also a CFA charterholder.
